We formally invite you to join us on Wednesday, October 14, at noon in celebration of Menopause Awareness week on Menopause Employment Protections in Illinois, presented by Amy Leeks, Deputy Director of the Illinois Department of Human Rights.

This is a session for lawyers to learn about the updates made to the Illinois Human Rights Act through HB5284/ Public Act 104-0793, which updates the act to clarify that menopause-related conditions are protected from workplace discrimination under the definition of pregnancy and directs employers to provide reasonable accommodations to employees experiencing menopause-related conditions
      

This CLE will be presented IN PERSON at Hughes Socol, 70 West Madison, 40th Floor, Chicago, IL 60602. ID must be presented at the lobby reception.

During the registration process, you will be asked whether you are attending IN PERSON or VIRTUALLY VIA ZOOM. The purpose of registration is to provide a list of in-person attendees to the building reception and to have an appropriate amount of food available. 

We request that you register by end of day Monday, October 12, 2026.

Lunch will be available for those attending in person. Those attending virtually will receive an email with the Zoom link by the morning of the event.
