NELA-Illinois will be holding a hybrid Lunch and Learn luncheon on August 12, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. Gail Eisenberg from Loftus & Eisenberg will be discussing the recent amendment to the IHRA whereby employers are prohibited from discriminating against employees for their actual or perceived family responsibilities. Learn more about what family responsibilities discrimination looks like and the why and how Illinois prohibited such discrimination in employment.

This CLE will be presented IN PERSON at Hughes Socol, 70 West Madison, 40th Floor. ID must be presented at the lobby reception.

During the registration process, you will be asked whether you are attending IN PERSON or VIRTUALLY VIA ZOOM. The purpose of registration is to provide a list of in-person attendees to the building reception and to have an appropriate amount of food available. 

Lunch will be available for those attending in person. Those attending virtually will receive an email with the Zoom the day before the event.
